Back to school, back to school...

And we’re back! Spring Break was good, though I worked all week it was nice not thinking about classes for a whole week. I have to admit I did not get a chance to play final fantasy at all which I found to be slightly ironic. I contemplated finishing the third paper, but in the end could not bring myself to do it. By the way, what was up with the snow storm on the first day of spring? Talk about some crazy weather, it was nice outside the day before, and then SWUUUUSHHHHHH. I guess old man winter decided to go out with one great gust before it was all said and done. I am reminded of the old Christmas movie The Year Without A Santa Claus with the Heat Miser and the Snow Miser (I am not sure I spelled those right).

Well, now that classes are going again it does not seem all that stressful as it did before. I am caught up with all my work, and though I did not work ahead during break I find that I feel confident in my ability to finish this semester strongly. Though, I am now looking ahead and believe that I am going to take some summer courses so that I can possibly finish up my degree next year. I think I need to take two cores and I would be done with general required classes. That would be nice because I really want to focus on the classes in my field. Though next year’s fall and spring semester will be crammed with all of my upper-division courses, but I think I can do it. At least I hope that I can because I would really like to move on to graduate school after next year. Hopefully, I will be able to get a good job and move out on my own again. I feel like a bum living with my family, but when I did live on my own I just kept acquiring student loans because the job I had could not cover my living expenses and tuition.

So, I hope everyone else had a great Spring Break. I know a lot of my friends went on a missions trip which is pretty awesome. Actually, this year is the one year that I did not do the same. I was kind of bummed, but you have to have money to do it and I did not have the cash. Working was pretty fun though. I got a position as a student technician and started last week. I was surprised how fast time went by because I was enjoying what I was doing. I like computers, but I have only a basic knowledge of them. However, with this new job I have already learned a lot of things I did not know before, and there is still more to learn! I once heard that true success in the workforce was when a person can call their job fun not work.
